The buyer of an Absolicon X10 system becomes a producer of electricity who can sell the electricity to the electrical grid, use the electricity directly or store it in batteries.
At the same time, the X10 produces thermal heat that can be used for hot tap water, heating, heat-powered air conditioning (solar cooling), desalination or process heat. The options for the usage of both the electricity and thermal energy that the X10 produces are vast.

This unique combination of photovoltaic/thermal heat is increasing the total amount of energy that can be produced on a rooftop.
Also, the solar thermal production is higher in wintertime compared to standard solar thermal collectors. Often the excess heat in summer can not be utilized in the building.
